Far from me to make a full analysis of the music business world, something I can feel is that the startup model can apply to music and in fact, I’m wondering who came first. Now remains a good recipe, turn a band into a consumption product creating a trending pre-launch and extracting all you can from that moment, make sure you add enough sweetness trigger the sexual attraction effect amongst the fan and the moment your analytics shows the slightest sign of slowing down, replace it by something new.
